Buathong Allen

Buathong “BJ” Allen, age 74, resident of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at her daughter’s home.
Mrs. Allen, daughter of the late Ken Jongcharern and Goeng Jongcharern, was born July 12, 1952 in Ubon, Thailand. She was an active member of Lakeview Wesleyan Church in Rossville, Georgia. Mrs. Allen enjoyed gardening (particularly her flowers); spending time with her animals (dogs, cats, and fish); and attending school activities where her daughters were involved. While at home, many would find her cooking; or watching reality shows such as Survivor or Big Brother. The family remembers her as a lady who was kind to everyone – one who loved her family immensely.
Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband of over 53 years, William “Bill” Allen, Jr.; two daughters, Manda Allen and Natalie Allen; one sister; one brother; one granddaughter, Keirah Oleskevich; brother-in-law, Glenn S. (Donna) Allen; many other relatives and friends.
Private services will be held with burial at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
