Carol Annette Skinner Matton, age 60 of Rossville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 12, 2024. She was born in Chattanooga to the late Emanuel Ray Skinner and Margaret Duncan Skinner, was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and was a member of New Covenant Baptist Church, Rossville. Carol was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Rachael Hernandez; sister, Rhonda Thompson; and brothers, Ronnie Skinner, and Patrick Skinner. Carol is survived by her children, Clarence McCormick, Sarah Mattoon and Christopher Crabtree; son-in-law, Jesus Hernandez; sister, Summer West; brother; Ray Skinner; grandchildren, Liliana, Carlos, Christian, and Gabriel; nieces, Mercy Skinner and Hailey Richards; and nephew, Ryan West. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, October 18, 2024 in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am 2:00 pm to the service. Arrangements by W.L.
