Carol Raye McGregor age 52, of Rossville, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024. She lived most of her life in the North Georgia area and was of the Church of God Faith. Carol had worked with Waffle House since she was sixteen years old with most of her career at the Waffle House in Ringgold, Georgia. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to amusement parks, reading her bible and spending time with her family. Carol was often seen smiling and always had a content attitude.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy Ervin McGregor and Linda Clifton McGregor; grandparents, Cliff and Leona Clifton; uncle, Harrison “David” Clifton.
Survivors include her cousins, Tonya (John) Clifton Peoples, Tallie (Aubrey) Carroll Benjamin (Tamaya) Clifton; six second cousins; aunt, Darlene (Thomas) Lawlor, as well as all of her Waffle House family.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 18, 2024 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Woodstation Cemetery. Online guest book at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.
