Charlotte Thrasher Pickett, 74, of East Ridge passed away on March 12, 2026.

She was born on December 18, 1951, and was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Thrasher, her mother, Wilma Thrasher, her sister, Nancy Rountree, and her husband, Dr. James Pickett. She is survived by several cousins.

While in high school at East Ridge and in college, Charlotte played fast pitch softball with the "Chattanooga Comets" traveling to several national women's softball championships.

She became a nurse practitioner working in neonatal intensive care units in Tennessee, South Carolina and Florida. In addition, she loved to travel both domestically and internationally. She also took time to become a licensed pilot and a scuba diver.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, at Lakewood Memory Gardens South in Rossville with Rev. Doug Plumlee officiating.

Her friends would like to especially thank the caretakers at Gentiva Hospice Services (Bonnie, Jeannie and Danielle) for their kind, professional care to Charlotte. In addition, we would also like to thank the many caretakers at The American House on Gunbarrel for their kindness and care.
