Christopher Michael Lewis Sr.Fort. Oglethorpe

Christopher Michael Lewis, Sr., age 23, of Pisgah, Alabama passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024. He was born in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia to Michael Wayne Lewis and Tara Kirk Ellis. He resided in the East Ridge and Rossville areas, where he attended Ridgeland High School and graduated from Hamilton County Adult High Schools. He attended Peoples Baptist Church in Rossville and recently Christ First Church in LaFayette. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting and fishing. Christopher’s true passion was his family, his job and his brotherhood. He was a sergeant with Walker County Fire Department and had been a firefighter since he was a teenager. He was a member and brother of the Forsaken Motorcycle Club, where he went by “Dimples.” He is preceded in death by his sister: Toni Lewis, grandparents: Loretta Kirk, Sonya Derrick, Theresa Nifong. Christopher is survived by his wife: Taylor Sway Lewis, their son: Christopher Michael Lewis, Jr., father: Michael (Brittany) Lewis all of Pisgah, AL, grandparents: Mike and Debbie Lewis, Billy Nifong, brother: Chase (Sammi) Shrum of LaFayette, GA, sisters: Destiny Lewis of Pisgah, AL, Hayle (Brandon) Johnson of Rossville, GA, niece: Hazel Rivera nephews: Riley Goff, Jameson Goff, several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends Monday from 12 noon until 8:00 pm and Tuesday from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
