Craig Alen Keith, age 51, of Chickamauga, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
Craig was born in Fort Oglethorpe and was a lifelong resident of Chickamauga. He was a dedicated diesel mechanic for more than 10 years and was employed with Dalton Truck & Body. Above all, Craig was a devoted Christian who found great joy in reading his Bible daily and living out his faith.
He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing and gardening. Craig will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness and presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Harding Keith; his grandparents, Thomas “Bud” Keith and Mary Keith; and W.H. Johnson and Faye Johnson.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Patricia “Patsy” (Hugh Curt Dean) Dean; his brother, Daniel (Angela Griffith) Keith; uncle, Tommy (Carol) Keith; cousins, Todd Keith and Andrew Keith; his step-siblings, Misty Bleu Johnson, Crystal Stargel, Shane Bell, Samson Bell, Candice Dean, Zach Dean, and Matt Dean; and a special acknowledgment to his former stepfather, Tony Gordy, and his family.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Christ First Church in Noble. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the service time at the Chruch.
