Danny Ray Bailey, 65, of Rossville, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024. He was born in Florence, South Carolina on January 5, 1959 and had lived in the Florence area, before moving to the North Georgia area years ago. He had worked in the Construction Industry for most of his life as a Roofer and loved spending time with his family & friends. He was a huge NASCAR fan and cheered for Chase Elliott, avid Georgia Bulldog fan and enjoyed spending time outside gardening. He was a loving and devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend that will be truly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Bailey; grandparents, Dewey Lindsay and Edna Bailey; and brother, Sean Peart.

Survivors include his loving wife of more than 39 years, Remonda Joann Bailey; children & spouses, Danny E. & (Amanda) Bailey, Shannon Bailey, Emmett C. & (Mary) Smith; daughter-in-law, Shannon Bryson; brothers, Richard Carroway and Blair Cooley; brothers-in-law, William Teems and Travis Teems; several grandchildren; Emmett Smith, III, Elijah, Levi, Asher; several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; close friends, Jeremy Walker, David White, Marty, Brenda Warner and Kat Bowman; and numerous extended family & friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2024 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Pastor Jerry Overby officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
