Debra Bryant, age 72, resident of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024, with loved ones by her side.
Mrs. Bryant, daughter of Wilma Jean McNabb Phillips and the late Pete Phillips, was born July 28, 1952, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was a loving Christian and worked many years in the Chattanooga area. Mrs. Bryant enjoyed traveling, particularly in the mountains and maintaining a good life for her dogs. She loved drawing, reading, as well as commenting and stealing photos on social media to print. Her love of music taste ranged from Alice Cooper to Jelly Roll to Gospel music. The family remembers her as a loving, caring, giving and thoughtful lady who always wanted to help others.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Lunsford; two brothers, Charles Phillips and Bo Phillips; and a brother-in-law, Ronnie Lunsford. Mrs. Bryant is survived by her mother, Wilma Jean Phillips; three sons, Gary “Mike” (Lori) McNabb, Adam (Angela) McNabb, and Chad (Traci) McNabb, Jimmy Bryant and Shannon (Karina) Bryant; two sisters, Pat Phillips and Kathy Bryant; two brothers, Tony (Renea) Phillips and Mark Phillips; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, 555 West Cloud Springs Road, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia on Sunday, November 3, 2024 from 4-8 p.m.
