Donald Reed Haney
June 7, 1943 - July 2, 2026

Donald Reed Haney, age 83, of Rossville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 2, 2026.
Donald was born in Athens, Tennessee, to the late Marshall Reed Haney and Kittie Sue Haynes Haney. He lived most of his life in the Rossville area and was a faithful and devoted member of Cloud Springs Baptist Church. A dedicated Christian, Donald loved the Lord with all his heart and faithfully served Him throughout his life. He taught numerous Sunday School and Bible study classes and was widely known as a passionate soul winner who never missed an opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Donald retired in 1998 after more than 25 years of faithful employment with The Roper Corporation. In addition to his love for the Lord, he was known for his kindness, generosity, and willingness to help his neighbors whenever there was a need. He especially enjoyed studying God's Word and encouraging others in their walk of faith.
Above all, Donald was a loving and devoted Christian man, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His steadfast faith, humble servant's heart, and Christlike example have left a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Martin Haney.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 64 years, Wanda Blevins Haney; daughter and son-in-law, Donell Haney Quinton and Kurtis Quinton; sister, Linda (Tom) Lail; grandson, Aaron (Lexie) Quinton; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
A celebration of Donald's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, in the funeral home parlor, with Pastor Bill Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, and prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
