Donna Gail Cook

Donna Gail Cook, age 79, of East Ridge, Tennessee, was born on October 1, 1946, and went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 18, 2026. A lifelong resident of East Ridge, Donna was of the Christian faith. For most of her life, she managed various Radio Shack stores throughout North Georgia and Tennessee. She was also an award-winning real estate agent and worked at Walmart after retiring from Radio Shack. Donna loved giving gifts to her friends and family as she often had a car trunk full of goodies. In her free time, she was an avid reader and enjoyed collecting vintage green pressed glassware and all decorations featuring chickens.
Donna was known for her sense of dependence and faith in the Lord. No matter the circumstances, she always told others that the Lord would take care of her. And He was always faithful to provide for her every need.
She is preceded in death by her parents, MC Trotter II and Bernice Royal; sons, Joshua Cook and Paul Cook; her siblings, Kathy Jo Dunnigan, William Roy Trotter, Sandy Norman, and her close cousin, Roy Crane.
She is survived by her children, Georgia (Jim) Silvernail, Dale (Natalie) Cook, and Bella Cook; her close granddaughters, Sarah, Cathy, and Brittany; siblings, Mike Trotter III, David Tolbert, and Lynn (Stan) Morris, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Nathan Eldridge officiating in the funeral home chapel. A private graveside service will follow.
