Elmyra Branch Dendy, age 79, of LaFayette, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank Branch and Joel Dendy; son, Charlie Branch; parents, Woody and Fleetle Whitten; brother, Herman Whitten; niece, Trecia Asher; and sister-in-law, Faye Whitten.
Elmyra is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 29, in Corinth Cemetery with Bro. Marshall Kellett officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jerick Hughes, Stacy Higdon, Travis Howell, Frankie Jones, Brian Whitten, and Taylor Whitten.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
