Frank Bowers Jr

Frank Bowers Jr., age 73, of Chickamauga, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 24, 2026. A lifelong resident of Chickamauga, he was born in LaFayette, Georgia, to the late Frank Bowers Sr. and Pauline “Polly” Shrum Bowers. Frank was of the Baptist faith.
Frank was the longtime owner and operator of Junior’s Feed and Supply, located at the end of Mission Ridge Road, where he became a familiar and welcoming presence in the community. He was well known for his love of chickens, football, and for greeting friends and neighbors from his front porch. Affectionately known as “Pawpaw Krank,” Frank was a devoted father, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Frank was also preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Martha Nave Bowers.
He is survived by his son, Cody (Debra) Bowers; siblings, Evelyn (Wirt) Garmany, Carolyn Jones, and Paul Bowers; grandchildren, Tucker Bowers and Leah Bowers; and several nieces and nephews, including Kevin (Tonya) Graham, Jennifer (Mike) O’Brien, Keith (Rhonda) Graham, Hutch (Ashleigh) Garmany, and April (Matt) Beasley.
A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
