Garrie Owen Harris, age 78, of Rock Spring passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024.
He was a member of Rock Spring Baptist Church. He served in the Army from 1967 to 1969 and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Garrie was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Foster H. Harris; nephews, Little Matthew Harris and Johnny Doran; and niece, Tracy Harris.
He is survived by his sisters, Alberta McClure, Foster Ann Doran, and Barbara S. (Randell) Brown; brothers, James “Bud” (Jeri) Harris and Harold F. (Tammy) Harris; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will take place at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 16, in Rock Spring Cemetery with Pastor Shane Harris officiating.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, December 15, at the funeral home.
