Harvey Eugene Clark, age 69, of LaFayette passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024.
He was a staple in the construction community doing flooring since 1981 and often did work for the elderly at no cost. He was also a devoted grandfather.
Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, Ila Dean and Dewey Lee Clark; and his brothers, Tim, Marty, Todd, and Larry Clark.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Carolyn Clark; sons, Shannon (Kendra) Clark and Bernie Reece; grandchildren, Peyton (Bailey) Clements, Hunter Clark, Ashton Reece, Wyatt Tarvin, Liam Tarvin, and Raelyn Clark; great-granddaughter, Quillie B.; brothers, Ricky (Teresa) Clark, Rodney (Jeanette) Clark, and Kenny ( Becky) Clark; sisters, Jane Mullis, Holly (Tammy) Ratledge, Diane (Mike) Brown, and Cindy (Mike) Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 17, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with his brother Ricky Clark officiating.
Interment will take place at Naomi Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Malcom Pickard, Rodney Clark, Kenny Clark, Ben Rush, Alan Roberts, and Cain Snider.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, November 16, at the funeral home.
