Heather Elizabeth Moyer, 49, was born in East Ridge, Tennessee, on July 2, 1978. Raised in Rock Spring, Georgia, she graduated from Gordon Lee High School and went on to earn an associate’s degree in animal science from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC). Later, while raising her two children, she completed a Bachelor of Business Administration at Bryan College, reflecting the determination and devotion that marked her life.

While attending ABAC, Heather met her lifelong love and best friend, Mark Moyer. Together they shared 26 years of marriage, building a home in LaFayette, Georgia, centered on love, faith, and family as they raised their children, Mandy and Andrew Joseph “AJ” Moyer.

Heather was deeply devoted to her faith and shared it generously through Not on My Own Ministry. She will be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile, joyful laugh, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. She treasured time with her family, delighted in travel and new experiences, and shared her father’s love of horses. Her life was a beautiful reflection of faith, family, and friendship, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Floyd Hager III; her grandparents, Nora Faye Hager and Joseph Floyd Hager Jr.; and Elizabeth Angline Harmon and Melvin Elmer Harmon.
