Henry Eldridge Shrader, age 76, of Rossville, Georgia passed away on November 23, 2024.
He was born February 17, 1948 in Jackson County, Alabama, the youngest son to the late Martha & Yules Shrader.
He was a 1967 graduate of North Sand Mountain High School in Higdon, AL.
Henry was a United States Army Veteran serving in Germany from 1970-1973.
He was retired from W.R. Grace Chemical Company after 50 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith and an avid Alabama Football Fan.
In addition to his parents, Henry is preceded in death by his siblings, Retta Mae (Ira) Davis; Lloyd (Betty) Shrader, Edwin Shrader, Breland (Freda) Shrader, and Truman (Dee) Shrader
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Connie Sizemore Shrader; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Jeff Thomas of Norfolk, VA; son and daughter-in-law, Coey and Gwen Shrader of Rossville, GA; grandchildren, Bailee (Nicholas) Jackson, Christopher (Jamee) Thomas, Destiney Shrader, Madison Shrader; great-grandchildren, Oaklee Jackson, Mylee Jackson, and Oliver Jackson who is on his way; brother, Lyvonne Schrader of Flat Rock, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday Nov. 25, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.; and prior to the service on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Robert K. Schrader officiating. Burial will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be Jeff Thomas, Chris Thomas, Nick Jackson, Cole Hackney, Matt Phillips and George Steele.
