Hyal “Butch” Norwood Angland, Jr., age 76, of LaFayette passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024.
Butch served in the Army from 1968 to 1970 and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. A mechanic by trade, he owned his own mechanic shop since 1980. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
He is survived by his loving wife, Edna Angland; daughters, Sherry Angland and Hannah Angland; grandchildren, Ashley Pope, Haven Jones, and Asa Deal; one great-grandchild; sister, Sheree Brown; brother, Roger (Donna) Angland; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
