Janis Michelle RodgersFort. Oglethorpe

Janis Michelle Trundle Rodgers, 53 of Ft. Oglethorpe went to be with The Lord on October 31, 2024. She has lived in the Rossville/ Ft. Oglethorpe area her entire life. Janis graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry from Lee University; and is the producer for several Christian podcasts. She also led a youth small group, and is a member in the Generations small group at her church, The Crossing in Chattanooga.

She is survived by her husband Phillip Rodgers, children Jacob Rodgers, KellyAnn Rodgers, Abigail Rodgers; parents Richard Dennis & Linda Trundle; siblings Michael Trundle, Julie Burnette; and one nephew Blake Burnette. Also surviving are numerous loving friends, and church family.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday Nov. 3, 2024 in the parlor of the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday Nov. 4, 2024 in the Ft. Oglethorpe chapel of Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Chad Harris officiating. a burial will follow at Lafayette Memory Gardens.
