Jean Dickson, age 91, resident of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at her residence.
Mrs. Dickson, daughter of the late Howard Benjamin Bell and Sadie Bell Fletcher Bell, was born May 8, 1933 in Ringgold, Georgia. She was retired from Brock Candy Company where she faithfully worked for 40 years. Mrs. Dickson was an member of Catoosa Baptist Tabernacle, where she taught Sunday School and kept church nursery for over 40 years. She enjoyed bowling, cooking & baking, and fixing broken small appliances. Most of all, she looked forward to spending quality time with her family. The family remembers her as a Godly lady who loved everyone and everyone loved her.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Dickson; two brothers, Tommy Bell and Jerry Bell; and two grandchildren, Wesley Chase Blevins and Billy Miller.
She is survived by one daughter, Treva Crouch; three sons, Patrick (Cheryl) Sherman, Randall Dickson, and Danny (Penny) Dickson; nine grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel, 443 Boynton Drive, Ringgold, Georgia on Monday, December 23, 2024, 2 p.m. with Jon Afman officiating. Interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 2-5 p.m. Because of her love for children, in lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Catoosa County Children's fund.
