Jenna Rose Moore

Jenna Rose Moore, age 3, of Summerville, went to her heavenly home after courageously overcoming many challenges throughout her precious life. Born at just 26 weeks premature, she defied every odd placed before her and showed strength far beyond her years. Though her time here was brief, Jenna’s life was filled with love, courage, and a beautiful spirit that touched the hearts of so many. She inspired everyone who knew her with her resilience, sweet presence, and the joy she brought into the world. Jenna will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all whose lives she blessed. Her favorite colors were purple and yellow, bright and beautiful shades that reflected the light and happiness she brought to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Melvin and Linda Mann; great-grandfather, Austin Moore; and great Aunt Lynda Mann.

Jenna is survived by her Mama Autumn Moore and Dada Joshua Moore, Pawpaw Mark Mann and Mawmaw Angie Mann, Chicken Wing Matthew Mann, Gigi Christin Dawson, Grandma Leeza Moore, Grandpa Kent Moore and Nana Tina Moore, Mawmaw Marilyn Moore, Granny Debbie Huskey (Rodger Abernathy), aunts & uncles, Tyler & Jessica Moore, Dylan and Holly Stanley, Elijah and Racheal Mann, Wayne Mann, and Nancy and Greg Titus, cousins, Chase & Hunter Moore, Paxton Stanley, and Annalise Mann, special friends, Lydia, Oliver, Maverick, Ellie, Kyra, The Collier Family, Dr. Van Mason, Dr. Kreth, Wendy Burns, Chattanooga Trach Families, Children’s Hospital at Erlanger staff, and many other family members and friends who loved her dearly.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 3, at Ridgeway Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Lewis officiating.

Interment will take place at Littlejohn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dada Joshua Moore, Pawpaw Mark Mann, Chicken Wing Matthew Mann, Uncle E - Elijah Mann, Grandpa Kenneth Moore, Uncle Tyler Moore, and Uncle Dylan Stanley.

Honorary pallbearers are Chase Moore, Hunter Moore, Paxton Womble, Maverick Hennon, Oliver Pope, and Rodger Abernathy.

Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

"In lieu of flowers, please bring new picture books or donate to the Jenna's Books & Bubbles fund at the Bank of Lafayette (706) 638-2520. We'll be organizing a Jenna's Book Corner for Medically Complex kids at the Kennedy Center, and also adding a "Jenna's Bubbles" station to an ongoing project at Children’s Hospital at Erlanger."
