Jimmy Ware, age 62, of LaFayette passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024. He retired from the Walker County Road Department where he worked for over 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Jewell Painter Bailey and Johnny E. Bailey; father, Frank Ware; and brother Chuck Ware.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Shelia Ware; stepdaughter, Chasity Barrett; stepson, Patrick Cameron; brothers, Eddie (Freda) Ware and Stacy (Lynn) Ware; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastors Paul Goodman and Chris Spears officiating.
Interment will take place at LaFayette Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Patrick Cameron, Drew Barrett, Eric Titus, Jared Morrow, Jeff Daniel, and Cody Ware.
A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
