John “Bill” Condra

John “Bill” Condra, age 64, resident of Rossville, passed away on August 8, 2026.
Bill, son of the late James William Condra and Polly Elizabeth Hicks Condra, was born November 23,1961 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He began working in roofing, later drove trucks for PSC Metals, and then worked faithfully as a Crane Operator for PSC Metals for over 25 years. Bill enjoyed fishing, going on vacations to Gatlinburg with his family, working on automobile engines, and pitching horseshoes. While at home, many would find him watching television (particularly The History Channel and Babylon series), NASCAR, and college football (especially Georgia football). The family remembers him as a hard-working man that was kind to everyone – and one who loved his family immensely.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Condra.
Bill is survived by two sons, Allen Condra and Chris (Alyssa) Condra; one brother, Charles (Belinda) Condra; two grandchildren, Johnathan Condra and Nathaniel Condra; one niece, Abby (Harley) Peck; former spouse, Diane Condra; other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, 555 West Cloud Springs Road, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia on Wednesday, August 12,2026 from 6-8 p.m.
