He was a kind man, head strong but loving. He loved his family, his farms, driving his tractors, raising cattle and making beautiful, bountiful gardens that he enjoyed sharing with neighbors.
John built many houses and barns in his lifetime. Some of his favorite things, before unable, was riding his four-wheeler or mowing the grass till the dirt flew. He loved toasting marshmallows and sitting by an open fire. Though frail and wheelchair bound, he enjoyed a couple of fishing trips for his 90th birthday. Many great memories were made for all.
Per John’s request, there will be no service, only cremation.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to hospice in his memory.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
