John Sullivan Sherrill III, 64, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024. He was born in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, to the late John Sullivan and Ellen Louise Sherrill. John lived in the Northwest Georgia area all his life and spent many years working in the Steel Mills. John always enjoyed a good round of golf and loved playing video games, listening to music on his vintage audio gear, and spending time with his dogs. But above all, John's love for his family was unparalleled. He especially enjoyed spending time with his great-niece and nephews. His family dearly loved John, and he will be greatly missed.
John is preceded in death by his parents, John Sullivan and Ellen Louise Sherrill.
Those left to cherish his memory include his brothers, Christopher Sherrill of Chickamauga, Georgia, Randall Sherrill of Rossville, Georgia, and Michael (Donna) Sherrill of Chickamauga, Georgia; nephew Matthew (Audriannah) Sherrill; great-nephews Jerimiah Sherrill, Billy Sherrill, and Dale Sherrill; and great-niece Kaliea Sherill.
