Joshua Ray McBurnettRossville

Joshua Ray McBurnett, age 38 of Rossville, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025. He was born in Kingfisher, OK and moved to the North Georgia area at a young age. Joshua lived most of his life in the Rossville area and was of the Christian faith. He was a lifelong Tennessee Volunteer Fan, member of the Carpenters Union Local #74 for many years and was an avid fisherman and enjoyed writing poems. Joshua was a loving husband, son, father, brother, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Tabitha Kelley McBurnett; parents, Donnie & Sherrie McBurnett; children, Elizabeth McBurnett and Carson McBurnett; step-children, McKenzie Motley and Deserae Motley; sister, Nikki (Tim) Shortt; sisters-in-law, Beverly Kelley and Jana Kelley; nieces, Alesya, Trinity and Brayleigh; living guardian angel, Teresa Wilson; emotional support companion, Coco; mother-in-law, Janet (Tom) Downey; fathers-in-law, Don Kelley and Danny Burton; and several other nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, March 14, 2025 in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday and prior to the service on Friday.
