Larry Christopher Hollifield, age 54, of Ringgold, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 5, 2026. Chris was a lifelong resident of Ringgold, Georgia and a longtime member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church. He graduated from Ringgold High School Class of 1989 where he played the trumpet for five years in the Ringgold Marching Tiger Band. For the last ten years, Chris had worked with Shaw Industries and in his free time, enjoyed playing golf and was an avid Georgia Bulldogs football fan. Above all, Chris loved spending time with his family.
Chris is preceded in his death by his grandparents, Abe and Vinnie Hollifield and David and Katie Wood.
He is survived by his parents, Larry A. Hollifield and Linda Wood Hollifield; several aunts and uncles, special cousins, Kera, Jamie, Becky, Aaron and many more cousins.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Anderson Memorial Gardens with Pastor Clyde Painter officiating.
