Larry Dee Osburn, age 58 of Chickamauga, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 18, He was born to the late Bobby L. Osburn II and Della Jane McDaniel Osburn in Fort Oglethorpe, was a lifelong resident of Chickamauga and was of the Baptist faith. Larry was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Robin Osburn. Larry is survived by his loving children, Joshua L. Osburn of Chickamauga and Kristy Taylor of Rossville; sisters, Lynn (Ernie) Ray, Lisa (Jimmy) Frist, Sandy (Matthew) Turnipseed and Kim (Donnie) Massey; brother, Robby Osburn III; aunt, Pidge McDaniel; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 21, 2024, in Osburn Cemetery, Chickamauga, with Pastor Jeffrey Parker officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday and prior to leaving for the cemetery on Saturday at the funeral home. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Homes-J.
