Linda Sue Palmer, age 77, of Ringgold passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Lucy Palmer; and sister, JoAnn Cagle.
Linda retired from Roper Corp. after 29 years of service. After her retirement, she enjoyed being a caregiver for 20 years. She faithfully cared for many individuals who treated and loved her like their own family.
She is survived by her special friend, Wayne McNabb; sister, Joyce (Lonnie) Williams; brother, Charles Palmer; aunt, Patricia Langford Houston; nieces, Kathy Smith (John), Kim Williams (Warren), and Donna Corley (Chris); nephews, Lance Palmer and Lee Palmer; great nephews, Eli Palmer and Madison Corley; and great nieces, Emily Smith and Lindsay Smith.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Randy Avans officiating.
Interment will take place at the LaFayette City Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Lance Palmer, Lee Palmer, Eli Palmer, Zane Thompson, Tommy Langford, and Madison Corley.
Honorary pallbearers are Martha Keller, Michelle Caheely, Sheila Brock, Shirley McWhorter, and Debbie Baker.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12 p.m. to the hour of service at the funeral home.
The family extends a special thanks to Michelle and Eddie Caheely for their compassionate care and love shown to Linda during her illness.
