Lucille Francis Parks Ware, age 96 of Ringgold, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. She was born to the late John Carl Parks and Pearl R. Rutherford Parks in Ringgold, was a lifelong resident on Ringgold and was a member of Wesleyann Missionary Baptist Church. Lucille retired after more than 25 years in Lighting Manufacturing, enjoyed gardening, and spending time reading her Bible. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed. Lucille was also preceded in death by her husband, Claude Ware; daughter, Betty Ann Akins; and sisters, Rose Long and Elizabeth Beaty. She is survived by her children, James Ware of St. Augustine, FL and John (Kathy) Ware of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Lisa Felicia Alexander, Aaron Ware, Clinton Noblitt, Sheila Bennett, Miranda Bigham, Amelia Akins, Nickie Akins, James Akins, and Christian Ware; special friend, Mary Randolph; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 4, 2025 in the Mt. Vernon Community Cemetery. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold.
