Marcina Jackson, age 91, of Rock Spring, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Noble. Marcina was a retired seamstress with Buster Brown in LaFayette.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Henry Jackson; and brothers, Pete, Maxie, Orville, and Fletcher Shipp.
Marcina is survived by her sons, Brent, Stanley, Micah, and Mark Jackson; granddaughter, Heather (Felicia) Jackson; great granddaughter, Harper Ann Jackson; brother, Paul Shipp; nieces, Jennifer (Stacy) Mitchell, Stephanie (Terry) Thomas, Debra Silvers, and Wanda Shipp; nephew, Archie Shipp; and several great nieces and great nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Minister Jack Byers officiating.
Interment will take place at LaFayette Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1 p.m. to the hour of service at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
