Mary Juanita Gossett Caldwell, age 84 of Fort Oglethorpe, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 7, 2024. She was born in Dalton, GA and has lived in the North Georgia area for most of her life. Juanita was a member of the Battlefield Parkway Church of the Nazarene and retired from Cadas in 2007 after 16 years. Juanita also owned the Catoosa Co. News, with her husband, was a founding member of the Catoosa Co. Chamber of Commerce, and was a co-founder of 1890 days in Ringgold. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed. Juanita was also preceded in death by her husband, James Lawrence Caldwell and granddaughter, Jennifer LeAnne Caldwell. She is survived by her children, Jan & Harold Williams and Scott & Stacy Caldwell; grandchildren, Adam (Morgan) Williams, Seth (Christina) Williams, Hunter (Holly) Caldwell, and Jake Caldwell; great grandchildren, Cora, Georgia, Colt, Brenda, Maggie, Brooklyn, Rob, and Caroline; and several nieces and nephews.
