Mary Suzanne Sand, 69, of Suffolk, Virginia passed away on Saturday December 7th, surrounded by family.
Suzanne spent her life giving back to others. She was an accomplished and dedicated Respiratory Therapist who devoted her life to selflessly serving her patients. Suzane was best known for sharing love and kindness with everyone she met.
Suzanne leaves behind her two children John Yauger, and Sarah Yauger. Her three grandchildren, Aubrey Yauger, Zachary Yauger, and Finley Jucksch. She is survived by her mother Marilyn Ransom, brother William (Sharon) M Ransom II, and sister Patricia (Kin) Carmody. Preceded in death by her father Kerry E Ransom, and her sister Marilyn J Turner.
Suzanne’s celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 11th, 2024, at Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home in Lafayette, Georgia.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00-11:00am, service to follow at 11:00 AM in the chapel with her nephew Ransom Jones officiating.
Interment will take place at the LaFayette Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Care Misson, The Cottage, or The Haven.
