Mike is survived by his wife Mary and children Michael, Megan, Molly and Melissa, two grandsons Mason and Arlo. His parents Roy and Charlene Kennett, sister Julie (William) Robison, three nephews, Aunt Delois Madaris, Aunt and Uncle Glenda and James Barnes and several cousins. Mother-in-law Evelyn Burke, brothers-in-law John and Allen Burke.
He was preceded in death by infant son Mason, grandparents Glen and Irene Kennett and Charles and Johnnie Tucker.
Mike was born in Chattanooga, TN on June 7, 1965. He lived the first 14 years of his life in Catoosa County, GA. His family moved to northeast Alabama in 1979. He graduated high school at Valley Head High School, Class of 1984. He married his wife, Mary Burke, in 1988. He had a passion for cars, motorcycles and was an avid football fan. He also enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels and spending time with his grandsons, family & friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2024 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mountain Home Cemetery, Hwy 117, Henagar, Alabama.
