Mrs. Sandra Franklin Harris

Mrs. Sandra Franklin Harris, 77, of Ft. Oglethorpe, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 26, 2026, in the comfort of her home. She lived in the Ft. Oglethorpe area for most of her adult life. Sandra was a member of the Gold Star Family and was a longtime employee of Lowe's. She worked at multiple locations throughout the Chattanooga area before retiring from Lowe's. She also retired from Junior's Building Supply. She enjoyed working in her yard, entertaining, and cooking for others. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and treasured every opportunity to support them in whatever they were involved in.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Harris; her parents, Irene and Albert Franklin; and her brothers, Sgt. Johnny A. Franklin and George R. Franklin; grandchild Baby Harris (Jeff & Regenia); great grandson Baby Jax Little (Joshua Little)

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Lorri (Mark Guider) Harris, Jeff (Regenia) Harris, and Jason (Jeanne) Harris; her sisters, Ellen Mock and Susan Franklin; her grandchildren, Joshua, Brittney, Ryan, Abby (Ethan), Mark; and her great-grandchildren, Jerika, Bailey, Emma, Shiloh, and Judah. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, and from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, in the parlor of Wilson Funeral Home Wallis Stewart Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, in the parlor of Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel in Ringgold, Georgia, with Lorri Harris, Brittney Little, and Jeff Harris officiating. A private burial will be held at a Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
