Nelda Hayes Waller, age 84, of LaFayette, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026.
Nelda attended Faith Worship Center and worked at Roper Corp until her retirement. She was known as a comedian to her family and friends and was well loved for her sense of humor.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Waller; grandchildren, Justin Aulabaugh, Amber Helton, Zachary Waller, and Shannon Waller; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Emma, Leighton, Makai, Macee, Bailey, McKenzie, Sam, Sarah, and Matthew; and brother, Mike (Therese) Hayes.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, April 10, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Russell Swafford officiating.
Interment will take place at LaFayette City Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
