Patricia Lynn Stailey Cordell

Patricia Lynn Stailey Cordell, age 64, of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 26, 2026.

Patricia was born in Fort Oglethorpe to the late John Bilbert Stailey and Leola Williams Stailey. She lived most of her life in the Fort Oglethorpe area and was a faithful member of Ascalon Baptist Church in Rising Fawn. A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, Patricia lived her life as a testament to her faith, serving others with compassion and grace.

She was employed with Burner Systems International for 22 years before later serving as a caregiver for more than eight years with Silver Angels. In that role, she faithfully touched many lives through her kindness and dedication. Patricia will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose gentle spirit and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Debbie Stailey and Paulette Williams.

Those left to cherish her memory include her devoted husband of 40 years, Pastor David Cordell; her sons, Jeremy Cordell and Josh Cordell; her sister, Laura Frazier; her beloved grandchildren, Kamri Chapman, Keli Cordell, Lyric Chapman, Kaylee Griffin, Aubree Rizzo, and Aria Rizzo; grandson-in-law, Kyron Suttle; great grandchildren, Legend Chapman and Luka Suttle; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026, in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Stan Chambers officiating. Interment will follow at Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, and prior to the service on Thursday.
