Rachel Faye Williams, age 82, of LaFayette passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Lee Williams; parents, Elgin and Maybelle Templeton; sisters, Mildred Smith and Alice Templeton; and brothers, Charles, George Winfred, and Darrel Templeton.
Rachel is survived by her daughter, Angela M. (Dew) Craft of LaFayette, GA; son, David Williams of Ocoee, TN; grandson, Donald RW Craft; great-grandchildren, Syler Craft, Jaxon Durrence, Neo Craft, and Ezra Craft; brothers, Fred Templeton of Dalton, GA, Wayne Templeton of Fort Oglethorpe, GA, and Gene Templeton of Rock Spring, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 9, at Sunnyside Baptist Church.
Interment will take place at McIntyre Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Templeton, Chance Templeton, Shon Templeton, Jeremiah Smith, Jamie Ridley, and C.J. Pledger.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 8, at the funeral home.
