Robert David Byrd, age 77, of LaFayette, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil D. Byrd and Jenora Reeves Byrd; and a brother, Master Sgt. Jerry Byrd.
David is survived by his loving wife, Susan Byrd; daughter, Amy (Mark) Lemons; son, Benjamin (Andrea) Byrd; and grandchildren, Lanie and Lucas Byrd.
A celebration of David’s life will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, January 3, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Ron Womack officiating.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday from 2 p.m. to the service hour at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
