Rosa Lue Knox Stanfield Blaylock age 93, of Chickamauga, Georgia went home to be with The Lord Friday – October 4, 2024. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 17, 1931 to the late Alva Randall and Clara Louise Funderburk Knox. She resided in Whitewater and Burlington, Wisconsin before moving to Georgia, where she resided in Rossville and Chickamauga since 1958. She worked many places throughout her life and lastly at Lookout Mountain Community Services, where she was the activities director. Rosa was a member of Chickamauga Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, crossword puzzles and tole painting. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Clifford D. “Jack” Blaylock, son: John Stanfield, granddaughter: Rachel Stanfield, siblings: Jean Curtis, Patty Ball, Jimmy Knox and Sandy Pope. She is survived by her children: David Blaylock, Kevin Blaylock, Karen (Tony) Burrows all of Chickamauga, GA, brother: Tommy (Beverly) Knox of Trenton, GA, grandchildren: Carla Stanfield, Samantha Blaylock, Alex Blaylock, Craig Burrows, Derek (Kimberly) Mummert, Lindsey Burrows, great-grandchildren: Brannon, Avery, Asher, Zoe, Charles, Marlowe, Kieley, Declan and Ryland, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. A private graveside service will be held Thursday – October 10, 2024 at Chickamauga Cemetery.
