Sandra Louise Mitchell

Sandra Louise Mitchell age 68, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. She was a lifelong resident of Ringgold and of the Southern Baptist faith. Sandra enjoyed reading love novels and caring for people in need as she often volunteered at Christ Chapel Share and Care Mission. Most of all, she devoted her time to caring for her grandchildren and children.
She is preceded in death by her parents, W. L. Bunch and Louise Bunch; her siblings, Benjamin Bunch, Alice Faulkenberry, Deaner Irwin, David Bunch and J. W. Bunch, as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Sandra is survived by her children, Angela (Denny) Clark, Susan (Ellis) Gordy, Stephanie Mitchell, Nicholas (Megan) Mitchell; her siblings, Frankie Haynes, Nancy Bunch, Linda (Ricky) Tipton, Lida (Donnie) Ariks, Joe Bill Bunch, Doris Powers, Michael Bunch, Hazel (Ricky Perdue) Dominick, Doug Bunch, and Maverick Tipton; thirteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, as well as many extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in the Wallis ~ Stewart Chapel of Wilson Funeral Homes with Pastor Bobby Henson officiating. Interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
