Sherrie Cameron Redmond, age 54, passed away peacefully at her home in Rock Spring, GA on November 19, 2024. Born in Naomi, GA, Sherrie grew up in the area, and was educated at Lafayette High School and Northwestern Technical College.
She was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Richard Brian Cameron. Sherrie leaves behind her devoted husband of 23 years, Wade Redmond; her parents, Rick and Shelia Cameron; her daughter, Kristin Cameron; her son, Ryan Broome, and her nephew Jacob Pendley.
Sherrie was the epitome of a loving family member and friend, known for her deep passion and caring spirit. Her love extended to her family, the beach, animals, friends, and her cherished plants. She was also a proud member of Woodstation Church.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26, at 2:00 pm in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Dr. Jamie Ellis officiating.
Interment will follow in the Naomi Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Mike Penson, Michael Penson, Wayne Pettigrew, David Mitchell, Pierce Mitchell and James Webb.
Honorary pallbearer is Rodney Wilson.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm and again on Tuesday from 12:00 pm until the time of service.
