Steven Roe Bass Sr., age 76 of Rossville, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024. He was born to the late Elmer J. Bass and Juantia Bass in Chattanooga, was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and was of the Baptist faith. Steven work in the textile industry for most of his life, until he retired in 2000. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed. Steven is survived by his loving wife, of 32 years, Brenda Bass; son and daughter-in-law, Steven Rose Bass Jr. and Nicole Bass; son, Britton Bass; grandchildren, Zachary Edge, Courtney (Jose) Gonzalez, Steven Roe Bass III, Logan Bass, and Rylee Edge; and several nieces and nephews. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Fort Oglethorpe.
