Tommie Wilbanks Brock, age 92, of LaFayette, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Oglethorpe.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Ronald “Ron” Edward Brock; and parents, Thomas Arthur “Ott” Wilbanks and Sarah “Agnes” Putnam Wilbanks.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane Denton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Deed (Laura Ann) Brock Sr., and Ronald Edward (Kellye) Brock Jr.; grandchildren, Adam (Jessica) Brock, Jason (Rosalind) Brock, Ben (Autumn) Brock, Michael “Mick” Brock Jr., Annie Laura Brock, Jered Denton, and Nathan Denton; great grandchildren, Braxton Brock, Grayson Brock, Eadie Lou Brock, and Harley Brock; sister, Elma Ada “Lou” Wilbanks Pendergraft; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 2, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Garland Hullender officiating.
Interment will take place at the LaFayette City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 1, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
