Vernon Asher, age 90, of LaFayette passed away January 2, 2025.
Preceded in death by his parents, Shelby and Jennie Bradley Asher; sons, Ronald, Travis, John, and Issac Asher; sisters, Catherine Dennison and Christine Jackson; brothers, Franklin, Owen, Edward, and Howard Asher.
He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca (Joe) Ballinger; sons, Jimmy and Jeremiah Asher; 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sisters, Millie (Billy) Oliver and Gertrude (Kelly) Edwards; brother, Richard Asher; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside service will be held on Monday, January 6th at 4 p.m. at Estelle Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
