William James Pinkerton, Jr. age 64, of LaFayette, Georgia, passed away Monday - February 23, 2026. He was born in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia to the late William James Pinkerton, Sr. and Lula Pauline Hood Pinkerton. He served his country in the United States Army and was a proud veteran. He enjoyed working on Bill McDaniels farm for over forty years in LaFayette, Georgia. He was of the Baptist faith, free spirited, and a very kind loving man who enjoyed fishing and doing carpentry work. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Nicole Leann Song, brothers: Charles Pinkerton and Dennis Michael McGlothin. Junior is survived by his daughter: Amber Dawn Stepanek, sisters: Shirley Reeves, Jackie Darlene Wallace, Janice Delain Lowe, four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
