Willie D. HoltChickamauga, GA

Willie D. Holt, age 89 of Chickamauga, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. He was born in Algood, TN to the late Asby Holt and Myrtle Qualls Holt, moved to the Chickamauga Area at an early age and was a member of Way of the Cross Baptist Church. Willie was a truck driver for more than 50 years, loved to fish and hunt, and enjoyed caring for his dogs and cats. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be greatly missed. Willie is survived by his children, Travis (Kim) Holt, Troy (Kari) Holt, and Todd (Barbara) Holt; siblings, June Evelyn Howell, Roy Kenneth Holt, Sarah Margaret Burkes, and Ruth Naomi Waldrop; grandchildren, Brandon Holt, Jason Holt, T.J. Holt, Ava Holt, David Holt, and Kristen Ziegler; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, January 3, 2025 in Coulter Cemetery, with Pastor Tim Chastain officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home-J. Avery Bryan Chapel, Chickamauga.
