Last week on August 7th, a 36-year-old Summerville man was convicted of committing multiple acts of sexual abuse against his 15-year-old adopted daughter and his daughter’s 15-year-old friend.  Christopher Mark Tidmore pled guilty to Aggravated Sexual Battery, Aggravated Child Molestation, Aggravated Sodomy, Incest, Statutory Rape, and several counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children.  Tidmore has been sentenced to life, with 38 years of the sentence to be served without the possibility of parole.  Summerville Police started the investigation into Tidmore after his daughter’s friend disclosed that he had sexually abused her during a sleep over.  A search of his electronic devices uncovered videos of Tidmore committing numerous acts of child molestation against this adopted daughter.  District Attorney Clayton Fuller announced the conviction in a press release yesterday.
