The state collected $2.49 billion in July, down nearly $70 million, or 2.7%, from last year.  The decline follows a reduction in individual and corporate tax rates. Corporate Income Tax saw the biggest drop—down over 56 percent—while Individual Income Tax ticked up slightly.  Sales Tax revenues dipped despite higher gross collections, and Motor Fuel and Vehicle Title taxes posted modest gains.  July marks the first month of Fiscal Year 2026.
