The City of LaFayette continues to work to reduce the turbidity levels at the Lee School Road Water Treatment Plant. City officials say the turbidity levels have decreased but not enough to remove the boil water advisory. Engineers continue to monitor the levels. City leaders met with 3 water filtration companies this week. The purchase of the water filtration system for the Lee School Road Water Treatment Plant would give the city a solution to the problem until the new Dickson Spring Plant is brought online.
