Happy Paws Grooming and Boarding is inviting the community to an afternoon of food, cars and four-legged friends during its Open House in LaFayette.
The event will take place Thursday, September 24, from 3 to 8 p.m. at 28 Wheeler Road in LaFayette.
Visitors can enjoy food, check out a car show, meet the Happy Paws staff and spend time with dogs looking for their forever homes.
Several shelter animals will be available for adoption during the event. The animals are up to date on vaccines, microchipped and spayed or neutered.
Even better, all adoption fees will be waived as part of the continuing effort to “Empty the Shelters.”
Happy Paws Grooming and Boarding regularly works with local shelter animals that need some extra TLC, making the business an active part of the animal welfare community in Walker County.
Whether you’re coming for the food, the cars or the pups, organizers encourage everyone to stop by — and you might just leave with a new best friend.
